Jonathan Taylor Thomas Arrested on Public Intoxication and Obstruction Charges

Jonathan Taylor Thomas was arrested on charges of public intoxication and obstruction after an encounter with deputies during a traffic stop in the Los Angeles area, according to information from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported by E! News.

Police said Thomas, whose legal name is Jonathan Taylor Weiss, was a passenger in the vehicle and repeatedly approached deputies while they were conducting field sobriety tests on the driver. Deputies further alleged that he kicked one deputy in the stomach while they attempted to detain him.

Thomas was booked on obstruction and public intoxication charges. The allegations and charges are not proof of guilt and remain subject to the legal process.
