<p>One of the most prestigious international basketball tournaments has come to an end, with Germany securing an 88-83 win over Türkiye in Sunday&#8217;s final matchup. Isaac Bonga led the way for Germany with 27 points, with the NBA&#8217;s Franz Wagner adding 20 and Dennis Schröder scoring 19.</p>

<p>In their histories, Türkiye has won only a silver medal at EuroBasket, while this is Germany&#8217;s second gold medal, having last won in 1993.</p>
<p>Before that game took place on Sunday, the third-place finisher needed to be determined. While it was close, Greece came away with that honor. The team narrowly defeated Finland 92-89 to win third place at Eurobasket 2025.</p>
<p>Giannis Antetokounmpo placed a massive role in the win. He put up a dominant 30 points and 17 rebounds to lead Greece to the victory.</p>

<h2>EuroBasket 2025 schedule, format</h2>
<p>The tournament kicks off on Wednesday, Aug. 27, and the group phase of the tournament will continue through Thursday, Sept. 4. During that period, teams will engage in a round robin tournament with every team in their designated group.</p>
<p>The top four teams in each group after the round robin will advance to the knockout round, which will officially begin Saturday, Sept. 6, with the round of 16.</p>
<p>From there, teams will whittle down quickly. The quarterfinals will take place Sept. 9 and Sept. 10, and the semifinals will occur Sept. 12.</p>
<p>Both the third-place game and the final will take place on Sunday, Sept. 14.</p>
<h2>Who is playing in EuroBasket 2025?</h2>
<p>Dončić and Jokić aren&#8217;t the only NBA stars taking part in EuroBasket 2025. Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will suit up for Greece, where he&#8217;ll play with his brothers Thanasis and Kostas.</p>
<p>Some of the other big names at the event include Kristaps PorziņÄ£is, Nikola Vučević, Lauri Markkanen, Bilal Coulibaly, Franz Wagner, Jonas Valančiūnas, Alperen Şengün and Deni Avdija, per Yahoo &#8216; Morten Stig Jensen.</p>
<p>Notably, France will not have San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama or Minnesota Timberwolves big man Rudy Gobert for the tournament. Wembanyama missed time last year due to a blood clot and is prioritizing rest this offseason. Gobert did not deal with a major injury last season, but also cited rest as a reason for skipping EuroBasket 2025.</p>

<p>EuroBasket 2025 won&#8217;t be available to watch on television networks in the United States. Fans who want to watch the event can do so through a subscription service called Courtside 1891.</p>
<p>Courtside 1891 offers two subscription tiers. The first is a free service called Courtside 1891 Plus, which allows viewers to see &#8220;extended highlights and a curated feed for your favorite teams and competitions,&#8221; per its website.</p>
<p>The second service, Courtside 1891 Max, is a paid subscription that enables fans to watch live streams of games. Courtside 1891 Max costs $30 annually in the United States, per DAZN.com.</p>
