**October 28, 2026 —** French industrial-software group Dassault Systèmes has raised
its full-year revenue-growth and profitability objectives after a stronger third
quarter, offering evidence that demand for its engineering and cloud platforms is
improving. But the figures also show why investors should distinguish the recovery
in its existing business from growth expected from a recent acquisition.

## What changed in the guidance?

The company now expects **2026 revenue growth of 4%–5% at constant exchange rates**,
compared with its earlier 3%–5% range. Its target for the **non-IFRS operating margin**
increased to 32.5%–32.7%, from 32.2%–32.6%. Dassault gave a full-year revenue range
of €6.399 billion–€6.459 billion. These are management forecasts, not achieved annual
results.

For July through September, total revenue was approximately **€1.552 billion**.
The company reported a 5% increase at constant currency, while its IFRS table showed
approximately 6% growth in reported euros. The difference matters: currency-adjusted
growth is useful for evaluating demand, but it is not the same measure as reported
revenue growth.

## The operating story behind the headline

Dassault’s **3DEXPERIENCE** software revenue increased 25% at constant currency
and cloud software revenue rose 14%. Annualized recurring revenue advanced 6% to
about €4.50 billion. Those measures suggest customers are continuing to move toward
platform subscriptions and recurring contracts, although growth in one product family
does not establish that the entire portfolio is expanding at the same pace.

The company reported a **31.6% non-IFRS operating margin**, up from 30.1% a year
earlier, and non-IFRS operating income of about €490 million. Its IFRS operating
margin was much lower, at **20.9%**. Presenting the two separately is essential:
adjusted profitability excludes certain items and must not be mistaken for the statutory
IFRS result.

There was also uneven geographic performance. According to the company’s breakdown,
Asia’s software revenue increased 12% at constant currency, Europe rose 9%, and
the Americas declined 3% against a difficult comparison. The regional mix complicates
any simple claim that all markets are recovering together.

## Why the ArisGlobal acquisition matters

Dassault completed its purchase of life-sciences software provider ArisGlobal in
September. Management expects the business to add around **two percentage points**
to fourth-quarter revenue growth, which it forecasts at 5%–8%. That is an anticipated
acquisition contribution, not proof of an equivalent acceleration in organic demand.

The life-sciences business is strategically important because Dassault wants its
simulation and data tools used beyond manufacturing, including in research and drug-
development workflows. The financial test will be whether ArisGlobal expands recurring
revenue and contributes profit after integration costs, rather than merely lifting
reported sales through consolidation.

## What investors and customers should watch next

The key questions are whether 3DEXPERIENCE growth translates into sustained company-
wide revenue gains, whether margins hold as cloud and life-sciences operations expand,
and how much of the fourth-quarter uplift comes from the acquisition. Management’s
outlook is subject to currency movements, customer spending and execution risk.
Dassault has scheduled a capital-markets event for **November 17, 2026**, when more
detail may emerge.

**Bottom line:** the raised forecast is meaningful because it follows stronger revenue
and margin trends, but the result is best read as an improving, uneven software
business with an acquisition-assisted final quarter—not as proof that every segment
has entered a new growth cycle.
