London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) said on Thursday, October 22, 2026, that it has agreed to acquire credit-data specialist Octus for $3.535 billion in cash.
Octus provides information and analysis covering private, illiquid and distressed credit markets. LSEG said combining those services with its existing fixed-income data and analytics could help customers assess risk and identify investment opportunities across public and private credit.
The agreement was announced alongside LSEG’s third-quarter trading update. It is an announced transaction, not a completed acquisition; closing remains subject to the applicable conditions and approvals.
